Rwanda Visa Application Form:
One Rwanda visa application form. After placing your order, fill out the application form included in your Visa Application Kit.
Two recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/light background.
OR - you can upload a passport photo when you place your order, instead of providing physical passport photos.
Letter Of Invitation from Rwanda:
A letter of invitation from the host company or sponsor in Rwanda explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Rwanda. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host’s name and contact information.
Business Cover Letter:
Letter from employer or sponsoring company in the US, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant's employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Rwanda. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Rwanda.The Consulate of Rwanda requires an official business letter to support your application. To generate a Rwanda Business Cover Letter on-line, simply request this service and provide your information using the simple online form in your Visa Application Kit, which you will receive once you place your order.
Proof Of Departure:
Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.
A yellow fever vaccination is required. While the embassy does not require the applicant to supply proof of vaccination in order to apply for a visa, immigration at Rwanda airport may require proof of vaccination.

Register your trip with the US Embassy in Rwanda:
The US State Department strongly encourages American citizens planning international travel to register with the US Embassy(s) in the countries they plan to visit. Registration notifies the US Embassy in each country of your travel plans and enrolls you in the State Department travel advisory and warnings program. Feel more secure about your international travels by having Travisa register your trip with the US Department of State; simply complete the form on your visa application kit after placing your order.

A valid passport and tourist visa are required to visit Rwanda. An East Africa visa is also available for travel within the Republic of Rwanda, Republic of Kenya and Republic of Uganda; movement is permitted between these three countries with a single visa. If applying for an East Africa visa through the Consulate of Rwanda, then Rwanda should be the first destination of arrival in East Africa.

After arrival the applicant will be required to obtain a Permit Class 1 for approved religious activities, from the Director General of Immigration and Emigration in Rwanda. The documents below are required for the acquisition of the Permit Class 1 for religious purposes.
One original Rwanda visa application form per applicant properly completed on-line, printed and signed, plus one copy. The application should be made at the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration.
One recent 2 x 2 passport photograph, in color, front view (without glasses, caps or scarf), and with a plain/light background. The photo should be attached to the application form by glue stick. Stapling and clipping the photo to the application form is not advisable.
Original document indicating Police Clearance from the country the applicant has lived in for the last 6 months.
Rwanda Visa Validity:
Rwanda Permit Class 1 visas can be issued for multiple entries and permit a stay of up to two years, at the discretion of the Embassy of Rwanda. This permit may be extended.
